Friends of Wildlife at Lake Santee

Nature Habitat 1

Our aim is to encourage the Lake Santee community to appreciate and protect our natural setting.

We meet the first Wednesday of the month (except January) at 12:00pm at Dockside Bar & Grill and 1:00pm in the Community Room. There are no dues or officers. Everyone is welcome.
Our projects: improvements at the Nature Habitat including tree labels and boardwalks, support of UTOPIA Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, raise Osprey nesting platforms, provide activities for community participation, maintain Abba (Memory) Garden, promote certified backyard habitats for the Indiana/National Wildlife Federation.
