Adding Shot Rock Along The Dam At The Waterline

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources recommended shot rock addition after their last dam inspection.  The rock needed to be placed along the 1,000’ face of the dam at the waterline.  We requested quotes from 3 contractors.  McCullough Excavating and Silt Removal was selected based on the lowest quote out of the 2 contractors that responded.  The contractor staged the rock at the maintenance building and then hauled it up the dam hill.  The rock was dumped at the top of the dam and then placed by a skid steer along the face.  The work was completed on Monday March 8^th & 9^th.
