Decatur County Area Plan Director, Doug Westerfeld, will make a presentation on the re-addressing of Lake Santee to meet Next Generation 911 compliance. The meeting will also be available via video meeting live and an archived video on our Lake Santee website. There are 2 main objectives. Parity: Ensuring even-odd numbering on opposite sides of the street. Continuity: Maintaining logical order of numbering in sequential order.

Next Generation (NG911) will include the following:

IP-Based system

Interoperability

Enhanced capabilities

Improved location accuracy

Increased resiliency
