DO NOT DUMP POOL WATER INTO THE LAKE
It is illegal in Indiana to dump pool or jacuzzi water into lakes, ponds, rivers, septic or sewer systems. UNLESS, the water is documented to have a chlorine level of less than 0.1mg/liter of chlorine concentration.
This level of chlorine can be achieved by using a de-chlorinating solution or allow the pool to sit untreated for approx. 5 days which will allow the chlorine to evaporate to safe levels.
