Works under the general direction of the Maintenance Supervisor to provide for the upkeep of buildings and grounds owned by Lake Santee Property Owners Association (LSPOA)
Provides contracted labor as directed for Lake Santee Regional Waste and Water District (RWWD). Performs repair and maintenance on equipment and machinery used for LSPOA and RWWD
Mowing grass during summer months
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Works on call after hours and on weekends
Operates various types of equipment including but not limited to, bush hog, tractors, graders, backhoe, mowers, dump truck etc.
Be familiar with OSHA required material safety data sheets
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
At least a high school diploma and at least one (1) years experience in a maintenance setting is preferred for this position.
Ability to efficiently use small hand and power tools
The job of General Maintenance and Repair Worker can be physically demanding. A worker assigned to this classification may be required to lift articles up to 150 lbs. and perform task that require a high degree of twisting and bending. Reasonable accommodations where possible will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
The ideal candidate will have experience operating tractors, bush hog, graders, backhoe, dump truck and various mowers.
Ability to read and interpret blue prints as needed
