The By-Laws in Article IV, Section 4 and Article IX, Section 2 state that the Lake Santee Property Owners Association will have a monthly official publication.

Our first Lake Manager, the late Tony Miller, gleaned from his travels to other lakes that the organization of a Booster Club to handle this publication would be beneficial. The first official publication, which became known as The Smoke Signals, was published on March 28, 1969. It was published by a group of volunteers and continues as such to this day.

Funds for this publication are received from donations from Lake Santee Members and our Advertisers. If you would like to Volunteer or Contribute, contact Paul or Nancy.

The Deadline for New Articles as well as Advertising is the 18^th of each month.
