In February 2021, the LSPOA Board of Directors passed a Resolution creating a Revisions Committee. The objective of this committee was to review the By-Laws and input provided by the LSPOA attorney, then make specific recommendations to the LSPOA Rules, Regulations and Legal Committee regarding possible changes, additions or deletions. This Revisions Committee was comprised of several current LSPOA Board members as well as two past LSPOA Board presidents. The work of the committee has been completed and their recommendations have been compiled and reviewed by the Rules, Regulations and Legal Committee. These changes are still considered in draft form and we are now seeking member input prior to finalizing the By-Laws for a member vote.
On Wednesday, June 30th, 2021 at 7:00 pm in the Community Room, a Special meeting of members will be held to hear your comments, questions and feedback regarding these proposed changes to the By-Laws. We hope that you will join us for this meeting so your voice can be heard prior to voting for these By-Laws. When you receive your ballot to vote for Board of Director candidates, you will also be asked to vote on the final version of the By-Laws. We will appreciate your affirmative vote on that ballot so we can continue to keep our governing documents current.
